As part of the nationwide AFA community, the Las Vegas Thunderbird Chapter is your local connection to a powerful network of advocacy, education, and support for the U.S. Air Force and Space Force.

Whether you’re active duty, retired, a veteran, a student, or simply passionate about aerospace and national security, our local chapter offers direct access to the valuable programs, information, and resources found on the national level at AFA.org.

Our Mission

As the Thunderbird Chapter of the Air & Space Forces Association, our mission is to support the AFA’s national objectives while serving the Airmen, Guardians, and their families at Luke Air Force Base and throughout the greater Arizona community.

To fulfill this mission, we:

EDUCATE our local community about the importance of aerospace power and the need for a highly skilled, technically proficient workforce to protect our nation’s security.

SUPPORT the readiness and well-being of the Total Air and Space Forces — including Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve personnel, civilians, families, and Civil Air Patrol members — right here in our local area.

ADVOCATE for aerospace and defense priorities, while championing STEM education, leadership development, and career advancement opportunities for future innovators.
